Este 2026, la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas escribe una nueva página en su historia con la realización de la 98ª edición de los Premios Oscar, que tiene lugar en el Dolby Theatre de Los Ángeles. Se trata del evento más importante de la industria, en el que se reconoce a los proyectos que triunfaron durante el último año y que ahora se llevan la codiciada estatuilla gracias a su destacado trabajo.
En Hollywood se vive una gran fiesta la noche de este domingo, en una ceremonia donde varias cintas parten como favoritas. Entre ellas destacan “One Battle After Another” (“Una batalla tras otra”), dirigida por Paul Thomas Anderson, así como “Sinners” (“Pecadores”), de Ryan Coogler, que llega como la producción más nominada con un récord de 16 menciones.
La ceremonia cuenta con Conan O’Brien como anfitrión, quien regresa este 2026 como presentador por segundo año consecutivo. Previo al evento, el comediante prometió un espectáculo entretenido al estilo de legendarios conductores como Bob Hope y Johnny Carson, según declaró días antes de la gala.
